The adapter functions as a top tube for step-thru bikes, like the HYPERAX Volt 2_1.25", enabling you to transport them securely with a maximum weight capacity of 70 lbs per bike.

With a total capacity of 140 lbs, the Hitch Bike Rack can support up to 70 pounds per bike, accommodating mountain bikes, electric bikes, and road bikes with fat tires up to 5 inches and wheelbases up to 58 inches. Step-through bikes can be easily carried with the included adapter.

Featuring a Hitch Hole Finder, this rack can be effortlessly aligned with the hitch receiver, eliminating the need to adjust the position of the rack repeatedly to find the insertion point for the hitch bolt.

Designed for a 1.25 inch hitch receiver, this rack is compatible with vehicles equipped with 2-inch class 2 receivers and larger. Secured by an anti-wobble ½ inch steel pin and a key lockset (Patent pending), the rack is durable and built to withstand the rigors of travel.

The tiltable design of the rack allows convenient access to the car trunk. By removing the safety pin, the rack can be tilted downwards while the bikes are mounted, providing easy access to the rear trunk without the need to remove the bikes.
